33 weeks!

Ok people, I am really almost 35 weeks (so we missed 34) but these are the 33 week pics. And I don't have much to say yet. I got a camera of my own for Christmas from Santa!! So now I can post a better variety of pics for you all. I will post more about how Christmas treated us.

32 Down... 8 weeks to go!

This is called "Come feel the baby everyone!" haha (Except Heidi looks terrified to touch my belly because it was moving like crazy!)

And really, it doesn't bother me when people touch my belly. I never thought I would be ok with it, but feeling the movement of a baby is just so incredible and I'm more than happy to share it with others!! :)
Here is my left side...

And here is my right side... which one looks better? Haha Life is good. I went to the Dr. this morning and ran into my stats teacher. It was crazy! (Apparently his wife is having a baby also.) And he hadn't posted grades yet and I have been dreading my grade, I just needed to pass. But he said, "Mackenzie! You passed... so you can stop worrying about it." And I was like, "Are you serious?! Put it here James. (And I made him give me a high five.) And I told him he was the man. haha So that was a HUGE blessing in my life so I don't have to take it over again. (He probably just felt bad for me because I'm so big and pregnant... oh well you do what you have to in order to pass a class right?! JK) Anyway, the Dr. measured the old uterus and said that I'm about 1 1/2 weeks ahead of time... but that doesn't necessarily mean she's going to come early. But if you think about it... I am literally turning into a human time-bomb. :) I'm guessing Jan. 23, 2010 for her arrival. And I'm sure you'll all be so excited to be able to actually have pics of something cute rather than my large belly... ha Soon my friends... very soon.

31 weeks!!

Just when you think you can't get any bigger... you realize that you can. :) So this will be short because I feel guilty that I am "blogging" when I have been freaking out about my dreadful Stats final tomorrow and should be studying. Life has been crazy for both Aaron and I. We're just trying to get through finals week and how is it that the month of December always seems to fill up with things to do and places to go? Beats me! But once finals are all over with, I am committing myself to get ready for this baby girl's arrival! (I would also like to get SOME Christmas decorations up... like my tree... before Christmas is here and gone.) So as you can see, I have plenty to do. Now I just gotta do it!
Oh, I have to tell this story. Today is Sunday, the great day we attend church. Well I cut Aaron's hair (did the sideburns lopsided) and I was showered and ready to go... just needed to find a dress to wear. Well honestly? I was probably the most PURE STRUGGLE girl I have ever seen! I tried tights (which has no been cut out of my limited options of things to wear.) I tried some dress with boots, and my belly was so big it made it too short and I couldn't get the tights off of me. And I just fell to the ground and pouted. :) My sweet husband Aaron just basically said, "Sit." Ha And he grabbed some clothes, and some leggings, and some boots and helped me get ready (because it is seriously getting hard to put things like leggings and boots on) and he made me feel better about myself. But it was pretty rough. Needless to say, we missed Sacrament meeting. But I just needed to say how lucky I am to have a sweet husband who is willing to take care of me... especially during the rough little moments like this morning!
See you next time with more belly bump pictures!

29 weeks!

So I am a little late on this whole blogging thing. This is my sweet awesome belly... AGAIN at 29 weeks. However, I am almost 31 weeks now. I guess my co-worker and I have just been busy and haven't had much time to take belly shots... in the bathroom. (Yes, the purple background adds a lovely touch to the pictures and the toilet is about a foot behind where I always stand. haha) But no one really needs to know that.
Good news, I passed the Glucose test and so I still just doing great and hanging in there. I just have to tell this story because it made me smile so much. My cute husband (I should probably get some pictures of him on here so I don't look so self-blog-centered huh!) but he was holding my tummy the other night and she was just kicking and moving and doing all the crazy things babies like to do inside the womb and he got down close to my belly and just said, "Shhh.... it's ok baby... daddy's here." And to most who are reading this are probably thinking "Wow, can we say cheesy?" But it just made me melt. I don't know how to describe the feelings that you encounter when all of a sudden it is YOUR child and YOUR family. It is very cute and to all who don't have kids yet, I highly reccommend this adventure in life. :)
I am currently in Cedar City, UT with my in-laws for the Thanksgiving holiday and it has been a great time. Tomorrow my muth-in-law, and 2 sister-in-laws are throwing a baby shower for me. This will be the first one and Baby and I are extremely excited. So we will be back for more fun and excitement hopefully not too long from now.

Welcome to the Third Trimester... 28 weeks

So here we are in the third trimester. I can't believe how the time is flying by. I feel as if time is running out and there is so much to get done! Friday I have yet another Dr's appt. and I get to be tested for Gestational Diabetes. They give you an orange drink that is pretty much like a "melted popsicle" as the girl described it to me and because my appt. starts at 8:20am I have to start drinking by 7:15am... Mmmm... now that's my kind of breakfast. But hopefully I pass the Diabetes test because that would not be very fun. But this little girl inside me just keeps kicking like crazy and keeps growing every day. The only part that is getting hard for me right now is the back pains all night long, so I need to either stock up on Tylenol or figure a new way to sleep at night. Other than that, life has been great.
School is ALMOST done for the semester which is always a great feeling. Just a few more papers and tests to finish up and it'll be Christmas before we know it. And I just really need to pass my Stats class, wow I cannot begin to explain how close this one might be, but I guess time will tell. Aaron is working hard with Farm Bureau and also doing well in school. It's his 25th birthday tomorrow and he's not that thrilled about it. I think it's great, it sounds like an accomplishment, "I've lived for a quarter of a century." It's nice! Ha I can't wait until I'm 25! ha Then maybe people will get off my back for "being so young and popping out babies?!" ha Alright well if you don't hear from about other things, I should have another picture next week of the baby bump!

27 WEEKS AND COUNTING!

Ok I know I know, don't start having a heart attack just because this is my second post TWO days in a ROW! Crazy right? Well my good friend Kasey who I work with has decided to take a picture of my growing belly once a week. So if anything, I should be able to post at least that. :)

As far as my pregnancy goes, it has been pretty smooth sailing actually. I haven't been sick and life's been great. Probably my favorite part about being pregnant is feeling her little body squirm around. It's crazy how everything works but that has definitely been my favorite part. Especially when she moves for her dad because it seems more real to him. It's great! :)

What a surprise!

Aaron and I consider ourselves very lucky and blessed. When I was only 8 weeks, we had the opportunity to go to the Dr. and check out some concerns we had. This was the very first ultrasound and to our surprise, we found twins! We were so overwhelmed and yet excited all at the same time.

About three weeks later, we went in for our original Dr. appt and because of the exciting news at the last appt, they were going to do another ultrasound due to the many complications that can take place when having twins. Our doctor found Baby B's heart beat and then he searched and searched for Baby A's but could not find it. He then got an image of it and he explained that our sweet Baby A had passed away and didn't make it.
The feeling I had was like someone had stabbed me in the heart, and ripped my heart out and I just cried and cried. I still had to get my lab work done and talk to the medical financial lady because we still had one baby and "the show must go on." But I couldn't hold my tears back and my sweet husband Aaron was holding me and taking care of everything for me. We were both heartbroken. It was an amazing thing to experience, only knowing about these twins for about three weeks and they were the size of little beans, and the attachment our hearts made with these two sweet spirits. There were so many questions we had but I know that Heavenly Father is aware of us and has a plan for each of us, even the little babies that are 8 weeks old in the womb. So we consider ourselves so lucky to have an actual picture of our two little babies together. :) I can't wait to meet that baby one day.
As for the other one, I am currently about 27 weeks and we found out that we are having a little girl who is going to melt her daddy's heart and we are so excited!
Now we just need to decide on a name...
