So I'm sure you have already seen this but I seriously love it. Not gonna lie, I wish I was cool enough to have someone fly me and a baby grand up on some cliff in Southern Utah to play a sweet song. Hadlie loves it too. She sings "Bumble Bumble, Bumblebee. Bumble bumble, Bumblebee. Bumble bumble, Bumblebee. Woah oh oh ohhhhh..." Good times in Paradise. :)

This was a few months back but they make me laugh every time. Instead of your usual "Brr it's cold" expression - Hadlie throws on a T at the end turing it into a "Burrrt!" Classic videos right after a nice warm bath. :) (Sorry it gets kind of foggy - the lens got a little moisture from Hadlie's little hands.)

 PUMPKIN WALK

So here we are, 3 months ago. :) My mom and sister in law Lindsey came over yonder to Cache Valley to experience the glorious pumpkin walk. I am pretty sure everyone and their dogs attend this event... probably because it is kid friendly and it is FREE! But Hadlie and Graysen had a fun time running around.

GARDENER VILLAGE

It is always a fun time at Gardener Village with the aunts and sister in laws. This year we were missing lots of usual attendees. But it's all good. We went and had a blast. This was MY first year anyway going for the Halloween witches theme. We always go with the Elves closer to Christmas. So it was different but it was jam packed full of people... EVERYWHERE! Which makes it kind of stressful. But we survived and still had a great time. What would we do with ourselves if we never had any traditions...

Hadlie's Grandma took her to a face painting station while we were there. She got a sparkly butterfly and boy did she love it. She didn't want to take it off when we were going to bed. :) 

MUSIC FOR THE SMALL & TALL

This is our sweet neighbor Diana. She is very musically inclined and is involved with this group called Music for the Small and the Tall and they do these fun events for little kids ages 3 and up. Well Diana gave Hadlie a special invite to come because she knows how much she loves music. We went and Hadlie had a blast! She was definitely a lot younger than all the other kids... haha But she didn't care. She just kind of did her own thing in her own little world. They handed out candy and she was in heaven... The word "treat" is a bad word in our house... haha

HAPPY 27TH BIRTHDAY DADDY!

Wait? What is this?... A date you say? Bahaha Yes indeed. I took my lover boy out on a DATE to the Pizza Factory for his birthday while Aunt Kelsie watched Hadlie. I don't think I have ever eaten so much salad in my life! (And on a side note, I threw it all up that night with the stomach flu... it was awesome and I never thought I would eat salad again.)

A Project I started a little too early on...

I am missing one pic because I never took it, but I actually covered the seats myself. You're really missing out on that missing picture. haha This set was from my inlaws when we got married and we honestly don't ever use the table except to collect stuff on but our walls are all white and the table is straight up white and the metal chairs are white and I keep asking Aaron for a new table but he keeps saying we don't need one right now. So I thought I would jump on this project in November or maybe December? Needless to say, I couldn't feel my fingers after I did it and it snowed the next day. :) haha So I will have to finish this come spring. But what do you think? The chairs have class, you have to admit. haha

My two cute piano students at our Christmas recital held at the Assisted Living Center. It was a BLAST! Those people were singing along and clapping and having a great time. 

I think that's all! Oct, Nov, Dec all summed up in a Nutshell! I am going to TRY to continue to keep this posted more as I realize that there are people who actually read this and like to see what is going on because we don't see each other very often. Gotta run, piano student is about to come to my door! 

Oh and P.S. I started a ZUMBA class that I found for free. It is straight up Latino music and ladies and it is SO much fun. Can't believe it took me almost 24 years to discover it. If you haven't done it, I suggest you give it try. You don't even feel like you are working out. It is a blast. 

Moment of Silence please...

I would just like to have a moment of silence to honor the fact that I am actually taking time to blog! (It's about time, I know I know.) But really? I think I would be a little more successful if I had taken a blogging 101 class to learn what the heck I am doing. If you would please notice, I did change my background... eh? :) That is about all I know how to do. (And type these words of course.) But as you can imagine, a lot happens in our lives when we skip out on 5 months of keeping up with our blogs. So I am either just going to have to skip it period. Or do some back tracking. But to do a current post, I wanted to write about Aaron's exciting news.....

                Aaron was ACCEPTED into 
        Utah State University's MBA Program!! 
(Master's of Business Administration for those of you who aren't familiar with the MBA lingo... I wasn't.) He is super excited about it. He starts this Friday. It is a 2 year program and the night and weekend course so he will be gone just about every Friday night from 6pm-10pm and Saturday morning from 8am-12pm. Hadlie and I are going to have some lonely Friday nights, that's for sure. (JK, I'm sure we'll figure out things to do.) I don't exactly think it will be a "walk in the park" but I do know that it is what we are supposed to be doing. Not sure who decided that school should cost so much darn money... but whatever?? We know our family will be blessed for this decision. 

And now for the speech about my hubby... (although I am kind of making fun of how girls always seem to do this, I really am being serious with my words.)
I am so proud of Aaron and all of his hard work. He gets up early and goes to work every day so that I am able to be a stay at home mom. You don't really realize how great it is to actually be a stay at home mom until you are working away from your children, and you have to drop them off at daycare and they scream and cry for you to not leave them. Point made, I am so grateful that he works so hard so that I can stay home with Hadlie every day. I am grateful that he has ambition to go back to school and get his Masters Degree in hopes that he can go further places in life - to excel to his highest potential. Aaron is a very determined guy. He sees the vision, and then he works for it.  I love that he has so much integrity. He has one of the biggest hearts that I have ever seen in a person. A heart that is constantly reaching out to those he loves and even strangers to help them in any way he can. He loves his family. I personally think he is the best daddy any child could wish for. I just know that a person with all of these characteristics can only succeed in life. It may not be through money and fortunes, but the kind of success that pleases our Heavenly Father. I am very grateful that I married him. I know he will do great with this new journey. (Love you babeh!) 

Happy Birthday to Me (back in June... I'm a little behind)

Above is the Primary Presidency I am currently serving with. I love these ladies. We went to Texas Roadhouse so everyone could laugh at me riding the bull... haha not really but I did feel pretty ridiculous.
Below is a pic of our great neighbors... The beloved Blackmer Family. :) Ali & Mitch came over to the Cache Valley area so Mitch could finish school in his engineering program. Boy am I glad they decided to be our neighbors! I think having Ali around made the transition of going from full time working mom to stay at home mom a lot easier. They are also expecting a little child in January. We are stoked for those two lovebirds. Love you guys!

I must admit, I am one lucky girl. I seriously don't think I will EVER understand why or how it is so easy for Aaron to just... make whatever, but it is. Me on the other hand, I can slave away for HOURS and it will still look and most likely taste like the world's biggest disaster. But I told Aaron I wanted either a homemade carrot cake or just one of those ice cream roll up cake things from the store. (It never crossed my mind that you could make one from scratch...) But you don't worry, Aaron put his mind to it and created one of the best birthday cakes I have ever eaten. That thing even had homemade ice cream in it! Classy...

More Exciting Events

Aaron is quite the sucker for his little daughter. She was fascinated with strumming guitars so Aaron found a little cheap one online and bought it for her. She loves to play it. The funny part is, now we have a guitar in our home and no one to play it. Who knows, maybe Hadlie will be our little country star or something? (Gpa Petersen did buy her some cowgirl boots, ya never know!)

We were able to go stay at Aaron's aunts house in Provo to watch his little brother Ben throw at State Track and he took first place!! He threw a 48 a smoked everyone else. Way to go Ben!!

Afterwards, we went bowling with Aaron's cousin Brandon. It was Hadlie's first time bowling. She had a blast! And I did pretty good myself. I almost broke 100... wahoo, go me! ha

This picture of my twinkle toes was actually taken today. It is the reason I have had all day long to catch on my blog. :) I went to the foot doctor this morning and I had all 4 corners of my toenails cut out! I was SO nervous but the doctor did a great job. They actually spray really cold stuff on your feet so you can't even feel the needle as they are numbing you. My toes are still numb and will probably be until tomorrow. So you really don't feel a thing. And they cut, dig, clean, pull weird stuff out, (haha) and bandage them all up. They weren't really infected but I've always had problems with ingrown toenails and I had just had it. So I did!

I still look like an excited little kid to celebrate my birthday. haha My sweet friend Aubree came up to stay at my place this past weekend and she made a point to celebrate my birthday because she wasn't sure if she'd see me by the time my birthday came around. So she made this awesome and delicious cake and we had a little birthday bash.

She even got me a gift. I don't know if you can tell in this picture but it is the sharing time book for Primary. Which leads me to some new exciting news...
I was called as the 1st Counselor in the Primary!! We had our first Presidency meeting last night and we had a blast. I think I'm going to have a lot of fun in this calling.


So we have had a lot of fun and exciting things happening to our little family lately. Aaron is really enjoying serving as the 1st counselor in the Young Men's. Because I am now in the Primary presidency, the President said that Hadlie could start going to Nursery now where she is only 2 months away from being old enough. (I can't tell you how excited we both are for her to go to Nursery. Church is a NIGHTMARE with an active child who doesn't want to sit in Sunday School and Relief Society! :)

Hadlie is growing up too fast. It is kind of sad but yet her little personality is very funny - and fiesty might I add! She is kind of in a tantrum stage and it is so not cute - but according to all the other parents I have talked to, it is normal. I can't wait for her to talk to me. I would probably drop to the floor in tantrums too if no one could understand a word I was trying to say. haha Beyond all of that though, she really is a sweetheart. Aaron and I love her so much. She is like our whole entire world.

Happy Graduation!!

After a lot of hard work and dedication, working full time jobs, having a child, oh life in general... we actually finished school! Technically we were done in Dec but since they axed the commencement, we decided to join the Spring commencement in May to make it official.

Aaron's family drove all the way from Cedar City just to watch a long boring ceremony. :) Even though they are long and boring, it really did make it feel official. My family including ALL 3 of my big brothers came as well. (My camera died so I don't have pics with them.) But it was cool to celebrate with our families.
